E24 and E25: quick explanation
For models covered by Thermador’s support reference, E24 relates to drainage and filter blockage; E25 concerns pump blockage or a loose/missing pump cover. Confirm the exact display against your model manual.
Record what happened
Take a clear photo of the entire message. Write down whether it appeared at the start, during washing or near the end of the cycle. Tell ABS whether water remains in the tub and whether you noticed a change in noise. This information helps communicate the concern before an appointment.
Recent plumbing or installation work
If the issue started after work in the kitchen, include that history in your service request. State what changed and when, without assuming that the change proves the cause. Provide earlier service records if available. The technician can review the history alongside the appliance assessment.
Use your model’s maintenance instructions
Consult the owner manual for user-accessible maintenance. Do not dismantle the unit or reach into the pump area to search for debris. Avoid repeatedly running the appliance while an unresolved fault remains. Stop use if you see a leak and arrange assistance.
When to request diagnosis
If the message repeats, contact ABS with the dishwasher model, photo and symptom history. We confirm service availability for your exact address and discuss applicable charges. After inspection, you receive an explanation of the findings and an estimate to approve before repair work starts. A displayed code alone does not establish that the pump must be replaced.
What should I send when booking?
- Complete dishwasher model number.
- A photo of E24 or E25, including separators and other display text.
- When the cycle stopped and whether water remained.
- Recent installation, plumbing or service history.
